REVIEW: Magnum Classic Ice Cream

This shared picture in Facebook says my sentiments about this Magnum hype.

I've tasted the Magnum Classic only. For 50 php,I could have bought two Cornetto's or three Pinipig's instead.

It has a thick Belgian chocolate coating that crackles when you bite. I don't care much if it's Belgian or not, to me it tastes like a Nestle chocolate. What's the difference? I can't even find the vanilla taste in its supposedly thick vanilla ice cream core. Admittedly it was creamy. Perhaps this is the reason why this is gas producing to some.

What's with the pictures with their newly purchased Magnum ice cream anyways?

Will I buy the Magnum Classic again? No way but I must try the Truffle and Almond variety for conversations sake.

Vamoose!

KIM PARDUCHO/KIMMYPOTS/GC OL 30

Kimberly Parducho
I have ordered contact lenses from her for more than three years already. At times she doesn't reply to my inquiries even if I have already sent the money but I still get to receive the geo contact lenses I ordered from her.
This year, tides have changed. I was so gullible that I fell for her bag of tricks twice.

I sent her 2, 500 on January for 5 contact lenses. They were all preordered so I was willing to wait. She was persistent and often asked me if I have already sent the money. Once I did send her the money she stopped texting me. She would often do this to me before so it was just fine for me.
After 3 days of texting and calling her, I decided to post a message in her FB account. I posted a message on her FB online shop too. It was there that I read a message from one of her customers asking where there lenses are. Alarm bells went off my head and I started doing my research on her online.
I decided to report her to Gcash. I asked Gcash  to freeze her account and they did! Kim asked me to request Gcash to open her account again which was really difficult. I put in lots of hours talking from one agent to another and even to their supervisor to no avail. It was impossible!
The gcash supervisor said that they will be sending me a form instead to be notarized so I can get my refund.
During those times we were in constant communication. She was now the one who was calling me and texting me for updates. We compromised. She will send me the products and when I received it I will pay her. She sent me 2 contact lenses( right prescription, wrong style) but this didn't include the usual lens container and solution.
After I sent her the payment she told me that the rest of my order has arrived and if I am still interested she will send it to me. I sent her the money and until now she never did. I tried texting her, calling her emailing her. And if Laguna is in the same island as Leyte I would have already knocked at the door of her house or got her blottered.
She has already deleted me from her FB account. Luckily, when I posted a message on her wall, a duped client of hers messaged me saying that we have the same situation and that there are many others there who were also fooled by Kim Parducho.
I was invited to their FB page . It is nice to have a support group.
If you have been conned by Kimberly Parducho, please leave a message because the group is now on the processes of pressing charges.

REVIEW: GARNIER SKIN NATURALS LIGHT INTENSIVE BRIGHTENING SCRUB

Product name: Garnier Skin Naturals Light Pure Lemon Essence+Micro-beads Intensive Brightening Scrub

What it promises:

  •  Immediate anti-dullness action
  • Quick lather, quick rinse
How to use:
Gently massage on wet face. Rinse with water. Avoid eye contour.

I am not a big fan of facial washes/scrub because I always felt that a regular soap can do the same job. Since my face was starting to have micro peelings plus the dull color, I decided to scout the local supermarket for something to address my problem.

I was contemplating on buying either L'oreal (high priced), Celeteque ( no promises so I wasn't swayed much) and Garnnier. Garnier particularly sold me out because it says that:
  • they are the leading European natural beauty brand
  • uses whenever possible carefullly extracted nature-based active ingredients
  • dermatologically tested on Asian skin
  • efficacy of their product is proven
Who wouldn't want to buy this? For a 50 ml bottle, I paid only around 80php!

What I like about this product is:
  • The tangy smell of lemon.  Just by smelling it I feel happy, relaxed and super clean.
  • It isn't heavily microbeaded so I don't really worry about my skin getting dry.
  • I think also that my skin has started to look less dull and oily.
Would I still buy it or recommend to my friends? Definitely! I love the product!

PRODUCT REVIEW: Vaseline Itch and Dandruff-Free Milk Nutrient Shampoo

Vaseline Itch and Dandruff-Free Milk Nutrient Shampoo is a two-in-one shampoo. Does this mean that I don't need to condition my hair after? I do't know. It doesn't say on the label.

The packaging says that it has a germ guard milk formula which strengthens scalp and attacks dandruff-causing germs, so you get itch and dandruff-free hair everyday. Each wash has milk proteins, that deeply nourishes hair as it continuously becomes strong on the inside and grows more beautiful on the outside.

Boo Boo's:
1. Bright blue color of the shampoo.
2. 2-in-1 claim, but its just plain old shampoo.
3. My scalp super itches when I use this.

Yep that is right. It promises tan itch free scalp but whenever I use this my scalp itches like crazy. I thought I was the only one who has similar complains but later on I heard my sister and Tita with similar complains. It doesn't help control my dandruff either. Instead it had made it worse.

I always dilute my shampoo with water but even if the shampoo has already been diluted my scalp feels like a hundred kutos are sucking it!

I See, I Saw, I Conquered at www.firmoo.com

I am myopic.
Once my glasses are removed, I would not be able to recognize you even if you are just a foot away from me. My perpetual challenge is to find not-so-ordinary glasses that would fit my eclectic taste and outgoing lifestyle.
Firmoo offers tempting glasses both zero grade and with prescription for free! I just wish our local optical shop has it to offer.
