Proactiv Skin Care Advisor Program

Just this January, Proactiv has launched their Skin Cae Advisor Program. I love this new idea from Proactiv because it brings their products closer to their buyers. You can easily ask the Skin Care Advisors on product recommendations for skin problems like acne and oily skin. They are trained using the module of dermatologists Drs. Rodan and Fields. So they are really well-informed. They know what they are talking about. Surely, they can help you get the beautiful skin you deserve.

If you want to know more about them, check out this link:http://my.proactiv.com.ph/skin-care-advisors.htm

I love this easy access program. Now I do not need to do my online research for the products, rather, I can quiz the skin care advisors if I have the right Proactiv product for my skin problems.

This program is now on going at selected Watsons stores and Proactiv Mall Kiosks like those in Trinoma, Glorietta 2 and Marquee Mall.

The Deniece Cornejo Dossier

With all the hullabaloo surrounding Deniece Cornejo, I just had to put my researching skill into full throttle despite the dozen or so reasons not to: no electricity, relying on a friend's hotspot, being too nosy about showbusiness (which is none of my business but will always be everybody's business)  and etc. However, I know you are just as curious as me. So come on and read what I have discovered!

Rumor has it that Deniece Cornejo went under the knife. She vehemently denies this on her interviews. She confesses to having her crooked teeth fixed though. True or false? You be the judge.

Juicy scoop 1 from http://getitfromboy.net/deniece-cornejo-pictures/# :

If not for the labels, I surely wouldn't recognize her.

Here's another one from http://twicsy.com/i/k8ghNe

http://www.fashionpulis.com/2014/01/before-and-after-deniece-milinette.html makes me think it is more than plastic surgery. Deniece Cornejo also got a little help from photoshop.

Juicy scoop 2 from http://getitfromboy.net/deniece-cornejo-pictures/# is a tell-all from an anonymous poster on FB. I tell you, it is worth the read. Here are the highlights:
  • Deniece does not really come from a rich family as she would have us imagine. Her father works in a cruise ship while her mom is a stay at home socialite. (Why do I care anyways? Both my parents are unemployed?)
  • She is telling the truth when she says she is from DLSU. She once posted on her FB that "I deal things in life in Lasallian way", whatever that means.
  • Her grammar is bad. I guess it runs in the blood since her mother posted a mind-boggling tweet just recently. I'm not exempted from this malady since English is not my first language.

  • She once auditioned for Bb. Pilipinas but got rejected because she was a bit on the heavy side.
  • She once posted a billboard photo of herself on FB claiming that it can be seen in New York.
  •  Grandmother is a lawyer's concubine. Her aunt married a matandang mayaman na madaling mamatay. Her other aunt is an addict while a third one has 5 kids from 3 different men.
  • Mr. Rod Cornejo an ex-GMA executive is her grandparents second cousin.
  • Cedric Lee is her boyfriend and is paying for her condo, car and branded bags.

And in response to Deniece Cornejo's crying wolf, Senyora Santibanez succinctly echoes my
humor when she said "Hayden paki-rape nga si Deniece tas videohan mo! Pinagpipipilitan eh! Gusto yata masample-an ng gaga!"

However, should Deniece be innocent in all this, I applaud you for your strength and courage. And to you Vhong, now you know what happens to philandering men who gets caught.

Best Bam-e in Leyte

Eating canned goods at least once a day since Yolanda struck has made my home cooked meals boring. However, there are rare days wherein I experience gastronomic delights. I will be forever thankful to my good friend Jam Tan for telling me to drop by Alonzo's every time I'm in Abuyog for their bam-e.

Alonzo's is located near the marketplace. It's a hole in the wall restaurant and is easy to miss. The first time we went looking for it my boss thought we were going to eat animal feeds because it was located next to an agrivet. It was hilarious!

Bam-e by the way is a combination of two noodles (flour sticks and vermicelli) and is quite a popular dish in the Philippines. No birthday party is complete without this for it is believed to bring in good health and a longer life for the celebrant.

The highlight of every trip to Abuyog for me is Alonzo's bam-e. Like most Filipino's, I can tell which bam-e version is the best. This is moist and easily slides down your throat. It is also generously topped with fresh vegetables, meatballs and meat. I know you have experienced eating noodles mixed with bones or with rotten vegetables. This on the other hand, I repeat, uses fresh ingredients.

For just 190 php, this sure is a good deal. It can feed up to 5 hungry Juans.

Vamoose!
