So this is me with my heavy OS -5.50 and OD -5.25 eyeglasses. Notice how thick the lenses are. In fact my nose bridge has cuts due to its heaviness. Somebody give me free lasik!!!

It has been my longtime dream to wear sunglasses sans the contact lenses. Too bad that ain't possible with my myopic eyes and tight budget.

A week or two ago, I got a surprise on my doorstep! It was a package from Firmoo. At first I thought the free glasses was just a gimmick! But lo and behold! Take a look at my loot.

This is how it looks like in the Firmoo website. I's valued at 21USD and the shipping is free. I looked it up today and it is already being phased out. Too bad! I think there was a high demand for this one, that is why there is no available stock left.

I requested Lee, from Firmoo to tint it gray because it is a neutral tint. You will still be able to appreciate colors while at the same time glare and brightness is reduced.
Here I am enjoying my new sunglasses! I love it so much that I even wear it inside the house even at day time!

Why do I love Firmoo? Let me count the ways.
  • I got my regular glasses at a local optical shop here in Tacloban for 1900php or around 48 USD while I got these Firmoo tinted glasses for 21USD or 840php only! Shipping was already free! That is how cheap it is. I am now going to buy all my glasses here! My sister has ordered hers already. You should too.
  • These tinted glasses feels and looks like sunglasses! The glasses I see here in Tacloban have light tints only. Sometimes you can even see where the tint ends.
  • It really feels light compared to my regular glasses.

    Just like you,I am also wearing an eyeglasses since I was 5th grade.I am a farsighted person,wherein I can't see things from far places.I want to have an eyeglasses and at the same time with tint.

    That was nice! I always love affordable sunglasses! however, I also have problem with myopia too which sometimes, it depends on what sunglasses I could wear while wearing a contact lens, I prefer wearing a contacts though instead of prescription eyeglasses. Yet, good thing, there are some sunglasses that can be wear.

    well, i love those sunglasses, very fashionable! I will check them out!

    you look cool :) i have 7 firmo sunglasses too but since i'm wearing prescription eyeglass, i can't wear not even one of them. so i decided to just give it to my fam in PI

    I love their sunglasses. They indeed look fashionable. My 5y/o daughter also has OS -5.25 on her right eye same as you. I hope it can still be corrected.

    Speaking of eye problem, I need to have my eye checked as I experienced eye strain often now. I guess mine comes with age :-) Anyways, those glasses really looks good on you.

    Nice, they do have great products. I was qualified to get a free glasses too but didn't had a chance to fill-up the form for ordering my freebies. It's been months now.
