Last night, we had a PDF party. PDF stands for payment disbursement form and we fill them out when we need money to implement certain activities in our program.

For several days now, my roommate has been trying to make heads or tails out of her PDFs but reconciling the amount spent out of the South Sudanese Pounds which are exchanged at the border to Sudanese Pounds and back again has proved too much for her. So she asked for the support of our PSM and we ended staying up late yesterday to help her out.

As I always make calculation mistakes, I did not volunteer to do the maths. I am glad I can memorize a bit of the Arabic numbers so I was the official translator of the numbers.
