REVIEW: Magnum Classic Ice Cream

This shared picture in Facebook says my sentiments about this Magnum hype.

I've tasted the Magnum Classic only. For 50 php,I could have bought two Cornetto's or three Pinipig's instead.

It has a thick Belgian chocolate coating that crackles when you bite. I don't care much if it's Belgian or not, to me it tastes like a Nestle chocolate. What's the difference? I can't even find the vanilla taste in its supposedly thick vanilla ice cream core. Admittedly it was creamy. Perhaps this is the reason why this is gas producing to some.

What's with the pictures with their newly purchased Magnum ice cream anyways?

Will I buy the Magnum Classic again? No way but I must try the Truffle and Almond variety for conversations sake.

Vamoose!

  1. I first had one in Mexico a few years ago. This is one of the best ice creams I've ever had. It definitely does not taste like nestle chocolate.
